Nero Belgio

Nero Belgio, also known as Nero Assoluto is a marble of Belgian origin with a uniform intense black color. This marble has a very limited availability since the blocks are extracted from a single quarry with limited production capacity. Belgium Black marble is very fragile and delicate because of its very compact and glassy structure. The blocks are usually small, cut along the vein and of reduced height. Nero Belgio slabs are never put through resining processing and they are only polished. This marble is used for furnishings and cut-to-sizes, often combined with other lighter marbles, especiallly withes.
