Honey Onyx

Honey Onyx or Onice Miele is one of the most beautiful Persian Onyx currently in production. The slabs have a warm color, that often arrives at a bright yellow and are adorned with numerous veins and shades with color tones that reach up to brown. The blocks of Honey Onyx are very fragile, and usually undergo special procedures for reinforcement with resins even before they are cut. Even the slabs have a very crystalline and therefore fragile structure. They are then subjected to resin treatment, to eliminate the eventual natural micro-fractures present and increase their resistance. The Honey Onyx slabs are produced exclusively in polished finishing. This Onyx is used for fine finishes, often exploiting its transparency in uses with suggestive backlighting. Onyx Honey is often used alongside other marbles, first of all Botticino which with its warm and lighter beige tone creates elegant and refined atmospheres.
