Grigio Collemandina is a historic Italian marble extracted from quarries located in the Lucca area. It is a very precious marble used for high-level projects. The slabs of Grigio Collemandina are characterized by the very elegant taupe gray color, crossed by some transparent gray-white veins. This marble is mainly used for interiors because of its delicate color and glassy structure. The slabs are usually resined to increase structural qualities and repair natural micro-cracks. In the modern plant in Brescia (Italy), Ziche Marmi resins with vacuum technology all the slabs of Grigio Collemandina using only epoxy resin. The best finishes for this marble are undoubtedly polished or honed, which allow to appreciate its singular color and veins. This marble can be used for floors, stairs, claddings, columns, .. The Collemandina Gray, because of its warm tones, is widely used in combination with beige marbles such as the Botticino marble.
