Botticino Cremo - Production of slabs and tiles | Ziche Marmi
Botticino Cremo
Italy
saw cut, polished, honed, brushed, sandblasted, bushammered

Botticino Cremo is a particular type of Botticino marble that is extracted also in the Paine quarry run by Ziche Marmi. This marble is characterized by a beige consistent background, free of evident veins and spots. Botticino Cremo marble is also almost free of porosities and has a particularly hard structure. This crystalline characteriistic allows the polishing to achieve extreme brilliance and makes it very long lasting. The Botticino Cremo marble slabs usually derive from the cut of the blocks along the vein (cross-cut) and are particularly uniform. The production in the quarries is continuous and so this material is suited to be specified also in medium and large-scale projects, also for public spaces, where it guarantees great durability over time even if subjected to considerable wear. A finishing that is particularly suited for this marble is the honed one. When Botticino Cremo is sandblasted it takes on chromatic characteristics similar to limestone, while maintaining all the superior qualities of a marble. It is also suitable for outdoor applications even in cold climates and can be used even if in contact with salted water. It is commonly used to make floors, claddings, stairs, fireplaces inside and outside.
