Tobacco Brown

polished, honed, brushed

Eramosa Cross Cut, also known as Tobacco Brown is a Canadian marble whose quarries are located in the Ontario region. It is a very particular brown marble. When the direction of the cutting of the block is against the vein, the originated slabs will be characterized by numerous parallel horizontal veins. On the other hand, when the block is cut in the same direction as the vein (cross-cut), the resulting slabs are uneven, the veins intersect on the surface, decorating it and making each slab unique. Eramosa is a very hard marble, which needs resin processing due to the presence of some micro-cracks. At Ziche Marmi, all Eramosa slabs are processed in the modern factory in Brescia (Italy), applying triple vacuum resin treatment with epoxy resins. This process is possible with the use of the most modern technologies and allows to enhance the structural qualities of the material without affecting its natural color and brightness. Eramosa Cross Cut is mainly used for indoor applications and in a polished or honed finish. TIt can be used for: floors, stairs, rooms, walls, kitchen tops,…
