Eramosa is a marble of Canadian origin whose quarries are located in the Ontario region and mainly produce medium-sized blocks. The Eramosa is a very particular brown marble: the blocks are very veined, so when they are cut in a sense perpendicular to that of the vein, the cut is called vein-cut and the resulting slabs will show many parallel veins with color tones ranging from brown to dark ebony, almost black The Eramosa slabs have then a height of 100-140cm and the effect of the vein is similar to wood. Eramosa is a very hard marble, which needs resin processing to reduce the eventual natural micro-cracks. Ziche Marmi resins all the Eramosa slabs at the modern factory in Brescia (Italy) applying triple vacuum resining with epoxy resins. This process is possible only with the use of the most modern technologies and allows to have slabs with enhanced structure and natural shiny color.
