Salome

Salomè marble is a historic Turkish stone, used in the past for historic palaces and columns. Today it is less available, but still widely used and appreciated. Salomè is characterized by its dark gray background color, decorated with red, pink, sometimes even white and golden veins. The contrast between the bright veins and the dark background creates elegant chromatic effects, which are best appreciated when the polished finishing is applied. The blocks of Salomè are usually medium-small in size and the slabs produced must normally be treated with resin. Ziche Marmi processes all the slabs of Salomè with triple resining with epoxy resin in vacuum, enhancing their structural qualities without altering the natural color.
