Giallo Reale cross cut

Giallo Reale marble is quarried in the mountains between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza in Italy. In most cases the blocks, slabs and floors have a yellow-pink hue that only in very rare cases becomes exclusively yellow. Precisely for this reason, the production of Giallo Reale is extremely limited. The blocks are sawn into slabs both cross-cut or vein-cut depending on the height and structural characteristics of the quarry-layer (bancata) they come from. The particular coloration of Giallo Reale gives the floors, stairs and walls a real traditional charm. The slabs obtained with the cut along the vein (cross-cut) are variable color and have the shades of yellow and pink. The slabs are then selected to achieve color consistency on the floor. Giallo Reale marble has been used in most of the most important public buildings in all the Veneto Region in Italy.
